Why Wine?
There are many options for home party companies. We believe there are two keys to choosing a company. The first is finding a product you believe in. It's pretty simple, if you don't like your product, you will hate talking about it. You don't want to go to a job you hate, right? So why start a business that you will hate? The second key to choosing a company for me, is that the product has to be consumable. Why? Because we want clients coming back to us again and again! It's harder to grow a business if you are constantly having to find new clients.
Americans are on the verge of becoming the world's biggest consumers of wine. It is predicted that by 2008, U.S. consumers will account for 25% of all the wine consumed in the world, up from 19% from 2005. This will put the United States in the top spot among all countries for wine consumption by volume, leapfrogging ahead of France, Italy and Spain. A 2005 French study projects a 14.7 percent worldwide increase in total industry revenues by 2008, with the wine already being a $100 billion market. There are only three ways to tap into the wine market. First you can start a winery. Sounds hard? Of course! Second you can open a retail store. Sounds expensive? Of course! Third, you can become a wine consultant, and not have to worry about bad weather affecting your vineyard, no inventory to stock, and no liquor license to convince the powers to be to hand over!
What does it take to succeed as a wine consultant? It takes dedication, whether it's one hour a week or ten hours a week, you have to be able to set aside the time and stick to it. It also takes a great team to train you and help at each stage. All of us are here to help you reach your individual goals, whether you want to earn an extra $100 a week, or $10,000 a month or more!
